Born in a humble village near the Great Forest, Valeria grew up in poverty, her father having retired from the Imperial Army to become a farmer. When her mother was killed by a one-tusked Gold Boar, Valeria, at the age of 13, vowed revenge and took on the responsibility of her family.

Valeria was born in a poor village in the vicinity of the Great Forest. Her father had been a soldier in the Imperial Army, posted to the Great Forest from Gregminster but had retired to become a farmer in the region due to his distaste for fighting. He would keep his Star Sword in the attic of the family home thereafter.
By 14, she had taught herself swordsmanship and, with the aid of the swordsman Kong Long, avenged her mother's death. Her feat of slaying the boar earned her local renown, and she later discovered her father's Star Sword, which became her weapon of choice.

When she was 13, Valeria's mother was killed by a one-tusked Gold Boar and she vowed revenge while taking on responsibility for the family. By 14, Valeria was self-trained in the art of her father's sword in order to defeat the boar that had killed her mother and avenged her with the aid of the swordsman, Kong Long.
Trained by Kong Long and inspired by tales of the Tiger General, Valeria joined the Imperial Army under General Kwanda Rosman, earning the nickname "Blazing Valeria" for her fiery combat style and crimson attire. She rose through the ranks due to her skill and intelligence, eventually training under the legendary Roundia Haia in Kanakan, where she formed a fierce rivalry with Anita.

Following this, she became known as the "girl who slew a wild boar with her bare hands" or "the giantess with two axes", an exaggeration of the true battle where Valeria wielded a machete before finishing the creature off with Kong Long's sword. Afterwards, Valeria's sister and brother found their father's sword in the attic.
Though their personalities clashed—Valeria being disciplined and Anita carefree—they shared a deep mutual respect. After graduating, Valeria was granted the Falcon Rune, further enhancing her prowess.

Kong Long then trained Valeria for a time before gifting her her father's restored Star Sword and departing. After this, she continued training while her feat continued to spread and eventually attracted the attention of Imperial General Kwanda Rosman.
During the Gate Rune War, Valeria's loyalty to the Empire wavered when Kwanda Rosman planned to burn the Great Forest using the Burning Mirror. Horrified at the potential destruction of her homeland, she defected, warning the elves of Lukie Ende Towayo.

Hearing his tale of the Tiger General and seeing the respect in his eyes he held for Emperor Barbarosa, Valeria joined the Imperial Army and served under Kwanda during the War of Succession.

At some point, she decided to train under the legendary Roundia Haia in Kanakan. There, she met Anita and the two became rivals, helping to spur on each other's development.

Though the two often traded insults, there was an underlying respect between the carefree Anita and the straitlaced Valeria. After graduating, Valeria was granted the Falcon Rune.

As an imperial soldier, she earned the nickname "Blazing Valeria" due to her ferocity in fighting on the frontlines and red clothing. She would rise through the ranks due to her ability and intelligence.
Though initially imprisoned, she joined the Toran Liberation Army after meeting its members. Valeria's selflessness was evident when she surrendered herself to the Imperial Army to ensure the destruction of the Burning Mirror, a sacrifice that nearly cost her life.

She was still an imperial soldier by the time of the Gate Rune War but would betray the Scarlet Moon Empire in an attempt to stop Kwanda Rosman from burning down the Great Forest. Valeria was horrified at the idea of the Burning Mirror, which she knew could burn down not only Lukie Ende Towayo and the Village of the Elves but the entire forest, including her home.

She attempted to warn the elves of Lukie Ende Towayo, but was rebuffed and imprisoned in a cell. While imprisoned, Valeria met members of the Toran Liberation Army and agreed to join their cause.

Even following the destruction of Lukie Ende Towayo, she would strive to prevent further tragedies. When she and the hero's party was surrounded by the Imperial Army, she would give herself up so that the others could destroy Kwanda's Burning Mirror, even though she knew she would be executed for her desertion.

Fortunately, Liberation Army forces arrived before she could be taken away. After Kwanda Rosman's defeat, Valeria would continue servng in the Liberation Army. Following the end of the Gate Rune War, Valeria became a Great General of the Toran Republic and a mediator with the elves.
Rescued by Liberation forces, she continued to fight for their cause for the remainder of the war. Following the conflict, she would become a Great General of the Toran Republic and a mediator with the elves.

During the Dunan Unification War, Valeria would give her power to the New State Army by order of Lepant. As a general, Valeria fought fiercely on the battlefield, showing both the New State Army and the Highland Army why she earned her nickname, Blazing Valeria. As part of the New State Army, she would encounter Anita again, the two rekindling their rivalry. They would spend some of their free together at the tavern, however.
In the Dunan Unification War, Valeria lent her strength to the New State Army at the behest of President Lepant, rekindling her rivalry with Anita on the battlefield. Despite their competitive spirit, the two shared moments of camaraderie, often meeting at taverns during lulls in the war.

After the loss of Nanami at Rockaxe Castle, Valeria would tell the hero not to show his emotions in front of his soldiers. As a veteran of war, she knew the dangers of battle and though not without sympathy, also knew that if the hero showed tears publicly, it would affect his authority among the troops.
Valeria's experience and wisdom were invaluable, as she advised the hero to maintain composure in the face of loss, understanding the importance of leadership in times of crisis.

Following the war, Valeria returned to Gregminster along with the soldiers she led. She would later meet to duel Anita in a continuation of their rivalry. They would be tied when Millie and Nash would interrupt the duel thanks to Viki's teleportation, leaving the result of their contest in doubt.
After the war, Valeria returned to Gregminster, her legacy as a warrior and leader firmly cemented. Her rivalry with Anita remained unresolved, their final duel interrupted by Millie and Nash, leaving their contest inconclusive.

During the Gate Rune War, Valeria's loyalty to the Empire wavered when Kwanda Rosman planned to burn the Great Forest using the Burning Mirror. Horrified at the potential destruction of her homeland, she defected, warning the elves of Lukie Ende Towayo.

Cool as a coolcumber.

Though initially imprisoned, she joined the Toran Liberation Army after meeting its members. Valeria's selflessness was evident when she surrendered herself to the Imperial Army to ensure the destruction of the Burning Mirror, a sacrifice that nearly cost her life.

Rescued by Liberation forces, she continued to fight for their cause for the remainder of the war. Following the conflict, she would become a Great General of the Toran Republic and a mediator with the elves.

In the Dunan Unification War, Valeria lent her strength to the New State Army at the behest of President Lepant, rekindling her rivalry with Anita on the battlefield. Despite their competitive spirit, the two shared moments of camaraderie, often meeting at taverns during lulls in the war.
