Bright, energetic and with a friendly personality, Gabocha was very popular in Two River City. His bright and friendly personality made him well liked by everyone. During the Dunan Unification War, he was a huge fan of Gengen and considered him his hero.
He secretly joined the New Alliance Army behind Gengen's back such was his desire to emulate his hero and see him in action with his own eyes. Though Gengen tried to refuse Gabocha, as he did want to put a child in such danger, Gabocha joined regardless. He also enjoyed telling others about Gengen's feats, including his ability to stay underwater for 15 minutes, and various monsters he had defeated.
Due to his youth, Gabocha functioned as something of a mascot to those who lived at the New Alliance Army Headquarters, although he was quite capable of fighting in battle as a soldier and fought as an infantry soldier during the war. Although inexperienced, his bravery and will to be like Gengen kept him fighting.
Following the war, his efforts were recognized and Gabocha became Gengen's first lieutenant, where he was said to perform admirably.
