Sarah (セイラ, Seira) is a supporting character in Suikoden who makes a cameo in Suikoden II. Sarah is a maid and washerwoman who seems to enjoy dealing with large amounts of laundry.

Sarah was a dedicated washerwoman working in the town of Kirov during the Gate Rune War. When encountered by the hero, she expressed genuine love for her work and willingly offered joined the Toran Liberation Army upon the condition of receiving soap to take on more laundry.
A series of trades ensued as Sarah eagerly sought the soap, only to realize later that she had an ample supply all along. Despite this, she would join the force as she originally offered. Her enthusiasm to join the Liberation Army might have led her to leave some clothes behind to dry in Kirov, much to her dismay.
In battle, Sarah showcased her proficiency with throwing knives, making her a valuable asset to the Liberation Army. Her personality could be characterized as somewhat abrupt, and she possessed a sharp tongue that could occasionally catch others off guard. This trait was likely due to her dislike of being disturbed while engrossed in her work.
After the conclusion of the Gate Rune War, Sarah found employment as a maid at the Scarlet Moon Inn in Gregminster, thanks to Marie's offer. During her time at the inn, her sharp tongue sometimes led her to berate customers whom she did not favor. She was still working in the inn as of the Dunan Unification War and gifted the hero a Cyclone Orb.

How to recruit
Talk to Sarah in Kirov once the castle is at Level 3 or higher and agree to find her some Soap. Buy Sugar in the Kirov item shop and trade it in Kirov for a Yardstick, that for Salt, that for Soy Sauce and that for the soap, then bring the soap to Sarah.
