Killey (キリィ, Kiryi) is a recurring character in Suikoden II, Suikoden V and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.2. He is a Sindar hunter who is a rival of Lorelai.

Killey was a renowned treasure hunter hailing from the Queendom of Falena. His distinct red attire is rooted in a cultural tradition of his homeland and is connected to the legend of the Crimson Bird, a revered symbol in his native culture.

Throughout his life, Killey embarked on a global quest to uncover the enigmatic mysteries of the Sindar, an ancient and elusive civilization. His fixation on the Sindar was all-consuming, leading him to pursue any means necessary to obtain information about them. The motivations behind his pursuit and his true identity remain shrouded in mystery.

Generally, Killey exuded a composed and reserved demeanor, yet he could undergo sudden and drastic shifts, transforming into a dangerous and even violent individual when confronted with matters related to the Sindar and their ruins.

Notably, he harbored a longstanding rivalry with Lorelai, another seeker of Sindar secrets. Their paths intertwined within the Deep Twilight Ruins, where they found themselves trapped together until Viki's intervention aided their escape, alongside Nash Latkje and others.

Years later, Killey resurfaced during a gathering organized by the Godwin Faction, aimed at studying the enigmas of the Founder's Site located in the Ashtwal Mountains. Intriguingly, he infiltrated the Sun Palace and was apprehended while investigating the various seals there. Subsequently, he faced imprisonment at Agate Prison, accused of attempting to steal the Sun Rune.

As the Sun Rune War unfolded, Killey encountered the Prince of Falena, and upon recognizing a potential connection between the Sindar and the Falenan royal family, he decided to join the Imperial City Recapture Army. Following the war's conclusion, Killey ventured out of Falena, continuing his relentless quest to explore Sindar mysteries. However, he found himself lured back by Lorelai, leading to his re-imprisonment through her maneuvering.

Several years later, Killey escaped prison and journeyed to the City-States of Jowston, driven by his unyielding curiosity about the Sindar. In South Window City, he conversed with the hero, after which he confronted Alex at the New Alliance Army Headquarters to probe into the secrets of the ruins behind the White Deer Inn. Despite his efforts, the trip yielded no substantial leads, and he returned to South Window.

Accepting an invitation to join the New Alliance Army from the young leader, Killey's true intentions for joining remained elusive, although it was surmised that he sought opportunities to uncover more Sindar-related information with the army.

Following the conclusion of the Dunan Unification War, Killey set forth from the Dunan Republic, embarking on a new journey to the distant land of Kanakan, where he remained committed to his relentless investigation of the Sindar.
