まんがんぜんせき Mankanzenseki
Chinese Banquet (Suikoden I&II HD Remaster)
The Chinese Banquet (まんがんぜんせき, Mankanzenseki, Man-Han Imperial Feast), localized as the Kaiseki Dinner in the 1999 English localization of Suikoden II, is a recipe and item in Suikoden II and Suikoden III. It is Recipe #40 in the former game and Recipe #20 in the latter.
Information
This extravagant and expansive dish has been historically enjoyed mainly as court food. Because it requires many ingredients and the cooking method is complicated, it requires a first-class chef like Hai Yo or Jinkai to prepare.
Jinkai favored the Chinese Banquet as his main course during his battle with Hai Yo and gifted the recipe to Hai Yo following his ultimate defeat.
