Greenhill City is an academic city that has evolved around the New Leaf Academy, which allowed it to become the largest center of studying within the City-States of Jowston. The city is divided into a school district and residential areas. Many stores line the streets and students can be often found here, in their uniforms, for a change of scenery. Tempura and pizza are two of the specialties found at the inn here.
In the past, it was a part of Muse Principality but became an independent city in 373 with the blessing of Muse mayor Uriah. The Wisemail family has traditionally served as mayors of the city. Prior to the Dunan Unification War, poor harvests and lack of industry beyond its educational facilities led to Greenhill suffering a deficit of contributions, and thus influence, within the City-States of Jowston.
Following the Dunan Unification War, while Teresa Wisemail served as mayor of the city before becoming President of the Dunan Republic, it was Emilia who serves as headmaster of the academy there.
