The Gold Collar (金の首輪, Kin no Kubiwa) is a type of equipment available in Suikoden. It was localized as the Gold Necklace in the 1996 English localization of Suikoden.
The Gold Necklace is a late game, powerful accessory which gives the wearer a very high DEF boost.
Information
The Gold Necklace is an extravagant collar made of gold that is worn by kobolds. During the Gate Rune War this was one of the most potent pieces of defensive equipment available to kobold warriors. Such collars found in the Dunan region also had a protective magic effect, increasing their value.
It was very rare, the only reliable source being from the remains of the Cerberus monster. Wingers were also able to equip this piece of equipment.
