Genso Suikoden: The Succeed Crest 1 (幻想水滸伝 －受け継がれし紋章－ １, Gensōsuikoden -Uketsuga Reshi Monshō- 1, lit. Genso Suikoden -The Inherited Rune- 1) is a manga published by Media Factory in 2009.
It is an adaptation of the first Suikoden game, intended to continue the line of Suikoden series manga following the conclusion of Suikoden III: The Successor of Fate.
The volume covers the events of the game up until the encounter with the Queen Ant on Mt. Seifu. As an adaptation, it is much more faithful to the original game than its previous adaption, Genso Suikoden: Soul Eater.
