Burning Sorrow/Premonition (悲しみを燃やして/予感, Kanashimi wo Moyashite/Yokan) was a promotional release containing two songs by Bosnian singer-songwriter Jadranka Stojaković for Vandal Hearts and Suikoden.
Information
This album was released on October 23, 1996. It was released on a single mini-CD in a flip-cover cardboard case rather than a standard CD case. With no individual releases or reprints, the only opportunity to purchase this album is through online resellers.
Both songs on the album are performed by Bosnian singer-songwriter Jadranka Stojaković, credited as "Jadranka", in Croatian. Song one, Burning Sorrow, is the main song of the album and is the theme song for the first Vandal Hearts game.
Vandal Hearts was a strategy RPG series published by Konami with its first game releasing on October 25, 1996, two days after the release of this album. As befitting the focus of the album, the album cover features Vandal Hearts artwork only while the rear shows both the Vandal Hearts and Suikoden logos.
The second track, Premonition, was used for the Suikoden TV commercials in Japan during the game's launch and was included specifically due to interest from people who saw the original commercial. This mini CD had a limited promotional print but Premonition would be re-released on the 10th Anniversary Konami Label Vocal History Collection album in 1999.
