Kahn, a descendant of the Marley clan, belonged to a family renowned for their centuries-long pursuit of vampires, with a particular focus on the vampire Neclord. Their quest began 3 or 4 generations ago, with an ancestor of Kahn losing their wife to Neclord, sparking the Marley family's pursuit for vengeance.
His grandfather and father had previously engaged in hunting Neclord, but lost their lives in their endeavors. Kahn, who was still in training, had been with his father when he fell against Neclord but managed to survive himself. Employing "shadow weapons," compact and easily concealed arms, Kahn mastered the art of combating vampires, a skill cultivated by his family's unwavering dedication to eradicating these creatures.
Upon the resurgence of Neclord in the ruins of North Window during the Dunan Unification War, Kahn united forces with Viktor and the Star Dragon Sword in an endeavor to vanquish the vampire. Subsequently, when Neclord withdrew, Kahn ventured forth to pursue his independent leads.
During his quest to find Sierra Mikain, the progenitor vampire, Kahn's path intertwined with that of Nash Latkje in Greenhill City. Promptly enlisted by Nash when the city faced siege by the Highland Army, Kahn displayed proficiency in utilizing a Canopy Defense magic scroll, neutralizing the magical prowess of the Highland mages.
Later during the war, Kahn extended assistance to the New State Army during Neclord's attempted takeover of Tinto Principality, collaborating with Sierra. His expertise in vampire hunting techniques proved invaluable, as he employed a technique devised by his grandfather, passed down through the family line, to seal Neclord's Doppelganger Secret.
Following Neclord's ultimate defeat, Kahn continued to stand with the New State Army throughout the Dunan Unification War, lending support in their confrontations against the Highland Army. Upon the end of the war. having accomplished the Marley family's 300-year mission, Kahn chose to retire from vampire hunting, embarking on a new chapter of his life.
