Hanna (ハンナ, Hanna) is a character in Suikoden II who also appears in Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1. She is a swordswoman on a journey from the distant Nameless Lands.
History
|
Hanna was a formidable warrior hailing from the Nameless Lands. Driven by an unyielding desire to wield her sword in battle, she embarked on a journey far from her homeland. Though generally reticent in speech, her imposing presence, honed physique, and stern countenance spoke volumes about her exceptional prowess on numerous battlefields.

While seeking a clash of blades, Hanna found respite in the tranquil atmosphere of Toto Village. However, the outbreak of the Dunan Unification War disrupted her peaceful sojourn. Witnessing the devastation wrought by the Highland Army upon Toto Village ignited a raging fury within Hanna, coupled with a sense of helplessness in being unable to prevent the tragedy. In her quest to halt Highland's advance and avenge the village, she aligned herself with the mercenary forces.
As the New State Army took shape, Hanna assumed the role of an infantry captain, exhibiting an unparalleled prowess that swiftly overwhelmed enemy soldiers, particularly those foolish enough to doubt her strength as a woman.
Despite her usual brevity of speech, Hanna found a kindred spirit in Oulan, their shared attitudes and strength fostering a strong bond. The two warriors frequently engaged in joint training sessions, culminating in the development of the formidable Tackle Attack technique. A true warrior at heart, Hanna favored meat as her go-to food, yet displayed an open-mindedness towards culinary experiences.
With the conclusion of the war, Hanna departed once more on her unending journey, directing her steps toward the Grassland, eagerly seeking new battles to engage in.
