Teresa Wisemail is the daughter of [[Alec Wisemail]], the mayor of [[Greenhill]]. As Alec became gravely ill, Teresa took over his duties, gaining a large amount of popularity and becoming an icon for the town<ref>"The true mayor of Greenhill, Alec Wisemail, has been seriously ill for many years. Therefore, the handling of the city's affairs has fallen to Teresa. Following her father's demise during the early stages of the [[Dunan Unification War]], Teresa declined the offer to become the mayor. During the [[Dunan Unification War]], the [[Highland Kingdom]] was able to capture Greenhill without much difficulty; however, Teresa was able to get away and hid in the forests behind Greenhill.
In a courageous attempt to quell the violence, Teresa offered herself to the Muse soldiers, who intended to hand her over to Highland. However, her allies intervened, preventing her from falling into their hands. Fleeing to the forests behind Greenhill alongside her devoted bodyguard, [[Shin]], Teresa's failure to escape the Highland occupation weighed heavily on her, leaving her confidence as mayor shattered.


The Highland army placed a bounty on Teresa's head. The [[New State Army]] responded by attempting to rescue Teresa. However, Teresa refused to go along with them and intended to turn herself in to Highland in hopes that it would stop the occupation<ref>"I will be the cause of no more suffering for my people. When she came to hand herself in, a large group of citizens urged her to escape, so that she could one day liberate Greenhill. Convinced by the show of support by her people, Teresa left Greenhill with the New State Army, but swore that she would return.
Moved by the suffering of her people under Highland's occupation, Teresa contemplated surrendering herself and rejected joining the [[New Alliance Army]]. Instead, she encountered a populace that fervently believed in her and wished to protect her. Inspired by their unwavering support, Teresa rediscovered her motivation to fight for her home. Pledging to return, she escaped alongside the New Alliance Army.


As a member of the New State Army, Teresa participated in battle and accompanied [[Riou]] to Muse in an unsuccessful attempt to negotiate a peace treaty.
