Tony (トニー, Tonī) is a character in Suikoden II and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.2. He is a devoted farmer with a passion for his fields and a hatred of moles.
History
|
Originally from the Matilda Knightdom, Tony was a farmer who owned a small field outside of Muse City. He was passionate about farming, cultivating his fields even in his spare time. He was forced to abandon his plot when the Highland Kingdom invaded. Tony fled all the way to Forest Village, where he was taken in by the village elder.
There, he encountered the New State Army's leader, who asked him to join the force. At first Tony refused, feeling indebted to the people of the Forest Village for taking him in. He would then receive the blessing of the village elder to leave, being persuaded that his work would help the war end that much sooner.
Joining the force, Tony began to grow crops at the New State Army Headquarters. He worked hard at plowing his fields, growing vegetables for the army, and fighting off the moles that would routinely try and destroy his crops. His goal was to one day own a large farmstead of his own.
Following the Dunan Unification War, Tony continued to work hard, attempting to grow vegetables in Tinto's barren fields. At some point, he appeared to have gotten married. Nash Latkje and his friends, who were sent to the future by Viki's teleportation, met Tony and his daughter there. However, it is not entirely clear who his future wife was.
