The Golden Wolf (ゴールドウルフ, Gōrudourufu) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden II and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1.
Information
The Golden Wolf is a formidable monster born from the Beast Rune. It was released following Luca Blight's ritual to unseal the Beast Rune in Muse City. Controlling these monsters is difficult as they tend to attack anything in their sights.
They have a resistance to all magic as well as most staus aliments and have a mastery over lightning magic, making them very difficult to defeat.
Nash Latkje and Elza also encountered one of these monsters in the woods near Greenhill City, which was released by Seed and Culgan. Despite being overwhelmed by its speed and power, Nash and Elza were able to drop it from a cliff to its doom.
