Rina was a traveling performer hailing from the Grasslands, although she had been constantly traveling since she could walk. Her and Eilie's parents died in a bandit attack when she was a child and she has been taking care of her sister since, gaining far more experience than her age would suggest.

Since then Rina, along with her sister, Eilie, and later their friend, Bolgan, formed a traveling entertainment troupe in which Rina would perform as a fortuneteller.
