The Giant Snail (マイマイ, Maimai, Snail) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
Giant Snails have high PWR, especially for the point in the game when they are encountered. Their attacks can potentially take out a single party member in one to three turns. Even so, they are not especially difficult foes unless the player's party is already weakened.

Found on Mt. Tigerwolf, this giant snail catches prey by stretching its neck. It is said that those who defeated this monster could sometimes obtain a Defense Rune Piece.
