Chandler (チャンドラー, Chandorā) is a character in Suikoden. An idle peddler, he was recruited to join the Toran Liberation Army and sold his wares to supply the soldiers in their effort.
History
|

Chandler was a wandering merchant known for his successful travels, seeking profits from various ventures. His reliable distribution network enabled him to trade a diverse range of goods. Despite his success as a travelling peddler, his true aspiration was to establish his own store.
Upon meeting McDohl at the Fortress of Kwaba, Chandler eagerly joined the Toran Liberation Army. He was motivated both by the prospect of opening his own store and having seen the tyranny of the Scarlet Moon Empire with his own eyes during his travels.
Drawing on his business acumen, he played a crucial role in supplying the nascent army. Utilizing the knowledge and experience gained from his years as a wandering merchant, Chandler efficiently provided the Liberation Army with nearly any item they required, albeit for a price.
Following the conclusion of the Gate Rune War, Chandler chose not to remain at Toran Castle. Instead, he further realized his long-held dream by opening a full-time civilian item shop in an undisclosed location, embracing a new chapter in his business journey.
