The Doppelganger Secret (現し身の秘法, Arawashimi no Hihō) is a technique first seen in Suikoden though its existence is only revealed in Suikoden II.
Information
This secret technique allowed Neclord to create a body double of himself. More accurately, it allowed the user's soul to escape the destruction of their original body. During the Gate Rune War, this meant that the Neclord defeated by Viktor and the Celestial Sword was a double, allowing Neclord to escape safely.
This would not be revealed until Neclord returning in North Window during the Dunan Unification War. Kahn Marley would reveal his knowledge of the Doppelganger Secret to Viktor after meeting with him.
Kahn would be able to suppress the technique for the group's final confrontation with Neclord in Tinto City.
