Healing Herb

The Healing Herb (やくそう, Yakusou) is an event item in Suikoden II.

Information

This treasure was found by Alex in the deepest part of the Sindar Ruins during his exploration with the hero's group. It was guarded by the fearsome Double Head but the monster was defeated with the hero's help.

Expecting to find a priceless treasure such as gold or gems at the end of his quest, Alex was bitterly disappointed to find this herb and tossed it aside. But as it turned out, when his wife Hilda fell through overwork, the hero was able to recover this herb.

Nanami was then able to save Hilda's life by preparing a medicine for her to take from this herb, proving its true value.
