During the Dunan Unification War, Mondo received orders from Hanzo to provide assistance to the leader of the New State Army, leading to his integration into the force. Mondo occasionally displayed a lighthearted aspect of his personality, as evidenced by his teasing of Sasuke concerning his affections for Kasumi. This playful demeanor contrasted his typically composed and serious disposition.
Mondo, while experienced and skillful, consistently dedicated substantial daily effort to honing his speed and jumping prowess. Frequent training sessions with Kasumi also underscored his commitment. Mondo's combat style centered around a claw weapon affixed to his right hand.
