Hans (ハンス, Hansu) is a character who appears in Suikoden II. He is an armorer by trade who traveled from Zexen to Jowston to make his fortune.
History

As the second eldest son in his family, Hans did not receive a good inheritance from his unwealthy family and so traveled all the way from the Zexen Federation, far west of the Dunan region in order to open a store.
Just as he was about to make a name for himself in the City-State of Jowston, he was caught up in the Dunan Unification War. Upon arriving in Two River City, Hans discovered that the city already had an armor store and was at his wit's end.
Luckily, the leader of the New State Army happened upon the armorer in the New Leaf Inn and gave him the chance to open his own store.
His armor shop became extremely well known for its wide selection of goods and became very popular. Although he had just enough money to establish himself in Jowston, he had also saved up an impressive amount of potch, although it was unknown where he kept it.
He remained at the New State Army Headquarters following the Dunan Unification War, continuing to run his armory there.
