Barbara (バーバラ, Bābara) is a character in Suikoden II. Barbara is the storage keeper of the New State Army.
History

Barbara is a storage keeper from North Window and a long time friend of Viktor. Barbara avoided Neclord's attack on the town as she had left three years previously for Ryube Village in order to be with her husband. When Viktor was recovered from the ruins, she would help treat his wounds in Kuskus Town, Barbara having stopped in the town on her way back to her family in North Window following her break-up.
With her good-hearted personality and strength, Barbara was invited by Viktor became the storage keeper for the Mercenary Fortress prior to the beginning of the Dunan Unification War. Her forthright personality lent itself well to keep the roughneck mercenaries in line and she was something of a maternal figure for the group.
As Viktor's mercenaries became part of the New State Army, Barbara continued to work at the New State Army Headquarters, maintaining its warehouse. She was poisoned with the Quiet Sleeping Maiden by Ryuki in order to goad Hai Yo into a cook-off but was given an antidote after Hai Yo defeated him.
