Gantetsu (ガンテツ, Gantetsu) is a character in Suikoden II. He is a priest with violent tendencies.
History

Gantetsu was a neophyte of Qlon Temple who often boasted of strength and was considered something of a roughneck. He was excommunicated due to his violent tendencies and his habit of getting drunk on sake. He could not be said to have held a deep faith and was more interested than training his body than his spirit.
Gantetsu eventually travelled to South Window City, brooding there without any goal in mind. That is until he would lose to the the leader of the New State Army and his friends in a test of strength. Shocked, Gantetsu would agree to join the New State Army.
Following the end of the Dunan Unification War, Gantetsu returned to Qlon Temple to begin his training anew, his expulsion rescinded due to his service during the war.
