The Samurai (サムライ, Samurai) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden II.

These sword practitioners seem to inhabit the Banner Forest that spreads between the Dunan and Toran Republics.
Supposedly human underneath their armor, attacking travelers is apparently part of their sword training, marking them as extremely bloodthirsty. Their roots seem similar to those of the ninja of Rokkaku Hamlet and they carry many fine items that the ninja would favor, such as Bonsai Trees.
They are very powerful and their fighting spirit makes them very dangerous. Their unique sword techniques allow it to stun its opponents in close quarters.
