Joanna (マークス, Mākusu) is a minor character in Suikoden II. He is the father of Pilika.
History
Marx was Pilika's mother who lived in Toto Village. His wife was Joanna.
He helped rescue Jowy Atreides after he threw himself from Tenzan Pass, welcoming him with open arms. He was friendly to both him and the hero on their return to Toto Village. He also maintained the village shrine.
Marx would be killed in the razing of Toto Village by the Highland Kingdom, led by Luca Blight.
