Jinkai (ジンカイ, Jinkai) is a minor character who appears in Suikoden II. He is the Grand Wazoo of the Black Dragon Group.
History
Jinkai was the leader of the Black Dragon Group and one of its four grand masters, known as Jinkai of Genbu. He attempted to use the Moon Bird Recipe along with Retso in his Dragon Plan. In order to regain the Moon Bird Recipe, he sent various assassin cooks to challenge Hai Yo but they were thwarted repeatedly.
After Retso was defeated, he would challenge Hai Yo personally. Although Jinkai was extremely skilled and determined, his perverse plans could not overcome Hai Yo's devotion to cooking. After losing to Hai Yo in a cook-off and hearing his impassioned plea, Jinkai regained his pride as a chef and abandoned his Dragon Plan.
