Devil Shield (ゴーストシールド, Gōsutashīrudo, Ghost Shield) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
Despite its name the Devil Shield has mediocre defense and so is not an exceptionally difficult enemy. Avoid using fire spells on it and you should defeat it in a matter of turns.
Information
This shield monster was seen in Pannu Yakuta Castle during the Gate Rune War. It is a metal shield imbued with the face of a demon and viciously attacks any intruders. The Devil Shield can release a powerful shockwave from its mouth, striking all of its opponents.
Defeated, its vengeful spirit may be driven out, leaving behind a Chaos Shield.
