The Black Wild Boar (黒イノシシ, Kuro inoshishi) is an enemy which appears in Suikoden.
Information
This variation on the Wild Boar had been witnessed around Mt. Seifu. These breed of boar is assumed to be the same species as the Wild Boar, although it is slightly more vicious than its counterpart that roams outside Gregminster.

Trivia
- It can be difficult to distinguish between the Black Wild Boar and the Wild Boar due to their similar appearance and the short length of time between the introduction of one, then the other. They are practically identical, except for the Wild Boar having slightly lower LUCK and an increased item drop rate.
- The Black Wild Boar is not black, although its later palate swap, the Death Boar is.
