The Fire Lizard Rune (火とかげの紋章, Hi to Kage no Monshō) is a rune which appears in Suikoden II.
Information
This rune could not be borne by an individual, and had to be attached to a weapon, causing it to emit flames. An opponent struck with a weapon that has this rune would be greatly damaged by the burning flames generated from the strike. However, the backdraft would also harm the weapon wielder.
The name of the rune was inspired by a creature encountered in the Sindar Ruins behind the White Deer Inn.
