The Flint Stone (火打ち石, Hiuchiishi) is an event item in Suikoden II.
Information

This was a flint stone obtained the hero as part of an errand at the Mercenary Fortress during his short tenure as a prisoner of war under Viktor's care. It was comprised of a metal piece and a stone piece. Striking the two pieces would produce a spark.
These stones were used to make fire was later used as a distraction when the hero and Jowy attempted to escape from the fortress. Jowy would light an Oily Rag aflame using the flint and throw it, distracting a pair of soldiers who rushed to investigate the fire.
