The Oily Rag (油のついた布 Abura no Tsuitanuno) is an event item in Suikoden II.
Information
This was a regular cloth until it was used by the hero to clean the floors of the Mercenary Fortress during his short tenure as a prisoner of war under Viktor's care.
The rag would become oily from use and was later used as a distraction when the hero and Jowy attempted to escape from the fortress. Jowy would light the rag aflame using a Flint Stone and throw it, distracting a pair of soldiers who rushed to investigate the fire.
