The Sleeping Maiden (静かなる眠りの乙女, Shizukanaru Nemuri no Otome) is a poison that appears in Suikoden II. In the 1999 English language localization it was called the Quiet Sleeping Maiden.
Information
This secret poison was made from the extracts of dozens of poisonous spiders from the Nameless Lands north of the Zexen Federation and the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. The poison was fatal if a special antidote was not administered within 30 minutes of imbibing the poison.
Ryuki poisoned Barbara with the concoction and challenged Hai Yo to a Cook-off with the antidote on the line. Hai Yo would emerge victorious and Barbara would make a full recovery.
