Shiro (シロ, Shiro) is a character in Suikoden II. He is a wolfdog who lives in the forest with Kinnison.

Shiro is a wolfdog who lived in the Ryube forest with Kinnison. Shiro, a mutt combination of both wolf and dog, was said to be highly intelligent and able to distinguish between good and evil. His father was likely a white wolf of legend, explaining his gift.

Kinnison had found the young Shiro by the dog's dying mother after a storm and had raised him ever since, the two becoming firm partners. As such, the two had been together for a long time and Kinnison seemed able to understand the meaning of the noises that Shiro made.

His favorite food was, perhaps unsurprisingly, meat. Kinnison would allow him to hunt on his own as needed. The blue cloth tied around his left foreleg was a gift of friendship from Kinnison, with a good luck charm sown inside.

During the early stages of the Dunan Unification War, Kinnison and Shiro encountered the hero in the forest after the hero had rescued a baby bird.
