History

The earth quakes with the wrath of the people. Their cries echo in the heavens. Now is the time for this to end.

—  Warren

Warren was a wealthy man and landowner from the northern reaches of the Scarlet Moon Empire. The wealthiest man in Dana, he was known affectionately as "Master Warren" due to his excellent reputation as a kind-hearted and generous man. He was respected both by the empire and its enemies.

Warren spoils the endgame.

Many passers-by had become grateful house guests at Warren's mansion. During the Gate Rune War, however, some of those guests included fugitives fighting against the Scarlet Moon Empire and so he was arrested by Kasim Hazil and taken to Moravia Castle, following the imperial crackdown of rebel groups in the region.

He was swiftly rescued by the Toran Liberation Army, along with Viktor who had been arrested at the mansion as well. It should be noted that Warren did not know Viktor was a member of the Liberation Army when he invited him to stay. He had merely heard rumor of a powerful wandering swordsman passing through and had sought Viktor out on that basis.

Following his rescue from Moravia Castle and having heard tales from Viktor of the Liberation Army and its leader, Warren returned the kindness by joining the army. Although he thanked the hero lightly, he took his debt to him seriously and was a fierce and zealous supporter of the liberation movement's fight against oppression.

He fought in Viktor's Team during the war, showing pride in his skill with the spear while clad in colorful clothing. His spear head was elongated, marking it as something akin to a naginata. Many were amazed that his prowess was not dulled by his years. In addition, Warren's financial contributions to the Liberation Army's cause was a giant step forward to their eventual victory.

Following the end of the war and the foundation of the Toran Republic, Warren's virtue led him to be appointed the first Chairman of the Republican Congress, working to support President Lepant.
