Kimberly (キンバリー, Kinbarī) is a supporting character in Suikoden. A master counterfeiter, Kimberly joined the Toran Liberation Army in order to put her skills to use.
History
|

Kimberly was a skilled artisan crafter residing in the town of Antei. Her true role, however, was as a renowned master counterfeiter. Her exceptional talent allowed her to create near-perfect forgeries, and she primarily earned her income by forging cargo slips for smuggling purposes.
Known for her fondness for alcohol, her avoidance of hangovers, and her avid pursuit of romantic interests, Kimberly had been commissioned by Mathiu Silverberg for cargo smuggling purposes in the past. Mathiu reached out to her through a written letter, seeking her assistance in forging a document for the Toran Liberation Army.
Upon having Mathiu's Letter read to her, as she was unable to read it herself, Kimberly stipulated that she would only join the Toran Liberation Army if Flik accompanied her to dinner. Despite Flik's reservations, Viktor permitted Kimberly to proceed as she desired with Flik.
After spending an evening with Flik, Kimberly made her way to Toran Castle. Before departing, she informed McDohl and his party about the whereabouts of Tesla. Together with Tesla, Kimberly skillfully forged the Fake Orders required by the Liberation Army, attributing the exceptional quality of their work to her pursuit of perfection.

Throughout the course of the Gate Rune War, Kimberly maintained a close working relationship with the Liberation Army. In combat, she wielded a kitchen knife that had been sharpened to possess the lethality of a sword.
During her service with the Liberation Army, Kimberly encountered Tai Ho and his sworn brother, Yam Koo. She attempted to pursue Tai Ho romantically, prompting Yam Koo to intervene in an effort to protect his friend from her advances. Subsequently, Kimberly established herself in Tai Ho's household after their marriage.
However, their marriage was far from harmonious, and Tai Ho and Yam Koo eventually traveled to Dunan with the assistance of their friend Kun To to escape from Kimberly's persistent pursuits. Unbeknownst to Tai Ho, Kimberly's interest had shifted from him to Yam Koo by that time.
