Tenkou used to be, by his admission, a pretty well known window maker. When [[Hero (Suikoden II)|the leader]] of the [[New State Army]] encountered him in [[Crom Village]], Tenkou noticed his possession of a Window Set, which refueled his passion for his craft. He initially offered to buy the Window Set, but joined the New State Army instead when he realized who he was talking to.
