Tomo (トモ, Tomo) is a character in Suikoden II. Tomo is the daughter of Tsai who wants to reunite her parents.

History

I wonder when my father is planning to visit my mother.

—  Tomo
I sleep in a racing car, do you?

Tomo was the daughter of Tsai. She was a strong-willed young woman with rustic personality who cared deeply for both her parents. She had inherited her mother's looks and was trained in the use of the spear by her father. After her parents separated, Tomo would try to reunite her mother and father.

She would visit Tsai's home in an attempt to persuade him, only to meet the hero. Hearing from her father that he had joined the New Alliance Army, Tomo would follow Tsai in joining the force so as to allow her to continue pressing the issue. Despite Tsai's attempted objections, she was welcomed into the force.

Although Tomo shoehorned her way into the New Alliance Army with ulterior motives, she fought very hard alongside her father throughout the Dunan Unification War, proving her worth in battle many times over with a spearmanship comparable to that of her father.

As the war continued, she expressed her concern for Tsai's safety. Tsai would agree with the dangers of war but vowed to continue fighting regardless. He would also ask Tomo to tell her mother that she never found him should he die in the upcoming battles, much to her dismay.

Following the war, Tomo succeeded in persuading her father to attempt to make amends with her mother and, together, she was able to live happily at home with both of them.
