Ryuko (リュウコウ, Ryuukou) is a minor character who appears in Suikoden II. He is a member of the Black Dragon Cooking Clan.
History
Ryuko was the sixth cook to challenge Hai Yo at his restaurant in the New Alliance Army Headquarters. He would challenge Hai Yo both for the Moon Bird Recipe and to avenge his brother, Ryuki. Like his brother, he was raised on Black Dragon Island since childhood and so had no place to return to should he be defeated.
After his defeat to Hai Yo in a cook-off, Ryuko committed suicide via poison, passing on his gratin recipe. This incident affected Hai Yo deeply, leading him to consider renouncing his ideals as a chef.
