Bashok (リュウキ, Bashoku) is a minor character who appears in Suikoden II. He is a skilled chef and the father of Mamie
History
Bashok was the fifth challenger who competed against Hai Yo in a Cook-off at New Alliance Army Headquarters. His specialty was Fried Rice.
He and Hai Yo were old friends, but he was forced to become an assassin for the Black Dragon Cooking Clan to raise money for the treatment of his seriously ill daughter, Mamie.
Following his loss, Bashok would renounce ties with the group, realizing he was foolish to trust the group, and swearing to save Mamie himself. She would eventually be saved by the treatments of Huan and Liukan. Her recovery following their treatments came from medicinal dishes prepared by Bashok and Hai Yo both.
