After the [[The Last Battle (Suikoden)|last battle]], Kanaan quickly fled the scene. With the collapse of the Imperial government, he turned to a life of petty crime and was eventually arrested and imprisoned by the [[Dunan Unification War]].

Kanaan (カナン, Kanan) is a minor antagonist in Suikoden. He is the Assistant Commander of the Imperial Guard and something of a negative symbol for the bloated Scarlet Moon Empire of the time.
