Taro (タロウ, Tarō) is a background character in Suikoden II. Taro is a sheep.
History
Taro was a sheep left in Yuzu's care by her grandfather.
It was Yuzu's favorite, and unlike the other livestock she raised, she was determined not to prepare it for slaughter. This could be seen in its neutral name. Sheep Yuzu raised for slaughter were given food names such as Jingisukan, Hamburger, or Fried Pork Cutlets.
Its collar had the same color as Yuzu's coat, indicating their connection and Taro's importance to her.
