Coates (コーツ, Kōtsu) is a minor character in Suikoden II. He is the son of Gordon.
History
Coates is a trader, like his father, and worked under Gordon at Gordon's Mercentile in Gregminster. Under his father's guidance, he had all the makings of a fine trader with a promising future ahead of him.
When Gordon joined the New Alliance Army, he gave Coates control of the Gregminster trading post. Managing the enterprise with great success, Coates continued to run the store as Gordon did not return to retake control after the Dunan Unification War.
