Julie Latkje (ユーリ・ラトキ工, Yūri Ratokie) is a character in Genso Suikogaiden Vol.1 and Genso Suikogaiden Vol.2. Julie is the younger sister of Nash Latkje and one of the targets of Zaj Quiroz's machinations.
History
Julie Latkje was the younger sister of Nash and daughter of the Latkje family, a prestigious noble family in the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. Treated as a princess since birth, she could sometimes be more than a little naive. She was very close with Nash and her aunt, Lena Suphina, growing up.
She was once engaged to Zaj Quiroz, who had been hired as her tutor. Nash had attacked Zaj just prior to their wedding, apparently killing him, and had vanished without explaining himself. Losing the two most important men in her life drove Julie into despair. She would conduct her own investigation, learning that Zaj's goal was to take over the Latkje family.
However, Zaj was not dead and returned to Julie, with his marriage to her being his path to power. Although Julie knew Zaj's goals, she refused to believe everything about him was a lie. Nash returned to Crystal Valley and defeated Zaj again before leaving without meeting her, costing Julie the two most important men in her life once more.
Even after being used as a tool, however, Julie remained a kind and loving person.
