Jeremy (ジェレミー, Jeremī) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV and Suikoden Tactics. Jeremy is a swordsman looking for a rematch against Mitsuba in order to prove the superiority of his technique.
History
|
Jeremy was a swordsman who had inherited the Flowing Strike Sword technique from his family which was known for its swordmanship. Even though he was taught to fight by his father, he claims that his mother was the strongest in the family.
In the past, he had been taken in by Mitsuba's con and defeated and since then he had been searching for her in order to get a rematch. He wasn't the type of person to think about things too deeply or to get caught up on details, nor was he particularly good at writing. He was also something of a sore loser, refusing to admit that he had, in fact, lost to Mitsuba before.
He eventually found Mitsuba on Na-Nal Island, accompanying the leader of the Headquarters Ship. Mitsuba turned down his challenge so instead he decided to show off his sword technique by joining the crew of the vessel himself.
Following the Island Liberation War, Jeremy would become a swordsmanship instructor for the Kingdom of Obel's army. Later, he was also part of a group that was sent by Lino En Kuldes to help Kyril in his mission to investigate the Rune Cannons.
He fought at the side of a lot of his old comrades, including Trishtan about whom he showed great concern, and Millay, fellow instructor at Obel. He also confronted Mitsuba and Reinhold accusing them of being up to their old tricks.
