Konrad (コンラッド, Konraddo) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Konrad is a retired magician who once tutored Katarina and was a friend of Commander Glen.
History

Konrad, a respected magician, played a crucial role as a magic instructor within the Knights of Gaien prior to his retirement. His expertise in magic was shared with numerous students, including Katarina, during his tenure as an instructor. As a fried of Glen Cott he knew of the commander's parental relationship with Katarina, but never spoke of it to her.
During the Island Liberation War, Konrad emerged from retirement to contribute his talents to the conflict against the Kooluk Empire, highlighting his dedication to causes he found worthy.
Despite his age, Konrad's commitment to his craft remained unwavering. He demonstrated a willingness to engage in combat when motivated, showcasing his enduring skill and determination. His proficiency rivaled that of Katarina, making him a potent force on the battlefield.
Following the war's conclusion, Konrad continued to be an active figure, assuming the role of magic instructor for the new knights stationed in Razril. His proficiency and commitment to nurturing magical prowess earned him admiration and recognition, solidifying his legacy.
