Aldo (アルド, Arudo) is a supporting character in Suikoden IV. Aldo is an empathetic archer who tries to reach out to Ted during their time together.
History

Aldo, a young archer, lived a life intertwined with the forests. His life took a turn when he became separated from his companions stranding him on the isolated Hermitage Island. He was subsequently rescued by the Headquarters Ship and joined the crew of the vessel.
Aldo's initial experience aboard the ship was marked by his unease around the presence of numerous individuals, causing him to be extremely quiet. However, his inherently kind nature began to surface, helping him navigate the challenges of reintegrating into a community of people. Over time, he managed to adapt to the environment and forge connections with his shipmates.
Notably, Aldo demonstrated a strong affinity for Ted, despite the latter's efforts to distance himself from others. Aldo's unwavering commitment to maintaining an open mind and engaging in conversations reflected his empathetic approach.
Following the conclusion of the Island Liberation War, Aldo's deep concern for Ted led him to shadow the enigmatic figure for a time. However, Aldo's fate ultimately remained shrouded in uncertainty.
Aldo's life came to a sudden end, marked by a mysterious accident. The circumstances surrounding his demise raise questions about whether he succumbed to the reputed curse of Ted's Soul Eater or fell victim to an unexplained occurrence. The precise details of his passing continue to elude definitive explanation.
