Gorudo (ゴルドー, Gorudō) is a Mastermind-class character card from Genso Suikoden Card Stories. It is part of the Booster Pack Vol.1 and is numbered 005.

Release Information

This card was available from any Booster Pack Vol.1 and was not included in the original Starter Box. It was later re-released, with minor artwork and text changes, as CS2-379/R005 in the To the Promised Land expansion.

Card Text

This Mastermind card holds an ongoing, passive ability. This card makes it so that all Character cards are now subject to the Betray condition, thus breaking the Unique Rule.

Instead of being unable to play the same Character card your opponent has already played, playing that Character card will now activate the Betray condition, replacing a Character card your opponent has on the field with the version you played, forcing the original card to be discarded.

The only restriction is that any Character card with the same camp affiliation as their Mastermind is not affected by this ability. For this card, that means State Army Independence Faction cards under its control are unaffected. If your opponent is playing a Mastermind with a number of different camp affiliations, the effectiveness of this Mastermind ability may be reduced.
