The Moving Isle (動く島, Ugokushima) is a boss event enemy in Suikoden IV. It is fought alongside four tentacles.
Information
This giant monster, apparently named Little Daisy, was the pet of Schtolteheim Reinbach II, Lord of Middleport. His son, Schtolteheim Reinbach III, hated this creature because it was not beautiful in his eyes. Attacking the Stronghold Ship as it approached Middleport, the Allied Forces were forced to engage it.
Extremely powerful, the Moving Isle could attack anyone on deck with its tentacles and by spraying ink. It would also ram the ship with its body, shaking the entire vessel violently. No mean feat, considering the size of the Stronghold Ship itself.
Due to its size and relative distance from the ship, short-range fighters cannot engage the Moving Isle. Instead, ranged fighters and magicians are recommended for this encounter. In battle, removing its tentacles is imperative so as to remove the powerful fire attack from its arsenal.
