New Leaf Academy (ニューリーフ学院, Nyūrīfu Gakuin) is a location in Suikoden II.
Information
New Leaf Academy, Greenhill City's academic center, is a symbol of the city. The school was established in 362 by Alen Wisemail as Grand Leaf Academy, an educational institution for the children of influential people in the region.
The headmaster position was originally the hereditary right of the Wisemail family for generations. Academic reform in 392 would see this system replaced with an electoral process. This reform would also see the school's name changed to its current appelation, New Leaf Academy.
At the academy, rune work, history, smithery and appraising, among other subjects, can be studied. Each year, students who gain excellent results graduate from the academy and contribute to society.
