Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars (幻想水滸伝 I&II HDリマスター門の紋章戦争 / デュナン統一戦争, Gensōsuikoden I&II HD Rimasutā Mon no Monshō Sensō/Deyunan Tōitsu Sensō) is the upcoming fifteenth installment of the Suikoden series. It will be the first new release in the Suikoden series in over a decade.

Information

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster is a HD compilation of the first two Suikoden games with several enhancements. All background illustrations have been upgraded to HD. Spell effects and sound effects have also been enhanced. The games will also incorporate an auto-save feature, the ability to fast forward battles, and a conversation log.

Kawano Junko's original artwork for Suikoden has been replaced though she has contributed updated designs and illustrations to the remaster project as a character designer once more. Ishikawa Fumi's Suikoden II artwork remains intact.

The game was announced during Konami's Tokyo Game Show presentation on September 16, 2022. The game held a tentative release date of 2023. On August 30, 2023, an unspecified delay was announced in order to afford the development team more time to finish the title, leaving the release date in limbo.

On September 2, 2024, the game would appear on the Nintendo Direct, revealing its new release date of March 6, 2025 and becoming available for pre-order immediately afterwards.
